Usage statistics. By default, the app sends an anonymous daily ping with a random installation ID, app and build versions, macOS version, processor architecture, beta status, engine names, and counts of sessions, chats, terminals, turns, computer actions, routine runs, and connectors. It contains no chat content, paths, folder names, or account or hardware identifiers. You can switch it off in Settings › General under “Send anonymous usage statistics”. We also count update checks and downloads on the server without identifying anyone; IP addresses are stored only as hashes that change each day. Statistics are kept for 90 days. Crash reports via Sentry are sent only if you separately opt in.

Connector credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain.

Agent engines communicate directly with their vendors using each CLI's own sign-in.
