How it works

  1. Download

    Download Shelzo and move it to Applications on your Mac.

  2. Add a folder

    Choose the project folder you want to work in.

  3. Pick an engine

    Choose an installed CLI, sign in with its vendor, and start working.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No Shelzo account is needed during the public beta. Your engines still use their own sign-ins and subscriptions.

Which macOS?

Shelzo requires macOS 14 or later and supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Does Shelzo send my code anywhere?

No. Shelzo does not send your code to Shelzo’s servers. The engines talk directly to their vendors under their own data policies. Usage statistics are anonymous, contain no code or chat content, and can be switched off in Settings → General → Privacy.

How do updates work?

Move Shelzo to Applications to enable its built-in updater. Use “Check for Updates…” in the app menu, or manage automatic checks in Settings → Updates.

What happens on 1 October?

The free public beta ends on 1 October 2026. Pro pricing will be announced in October. Your engine subscriptions stay separate and remain yours.
